How do we get the most out of ourselves?
How do we balance work, home,
relationships, travel, time?
How do we take care of our bodies on the
run?
How do we stop habitually popping painkillers?
It's these questions that led Fiona Breslin (a member of the Complementary Therapists Association, the International Council of Holistic Therapists and a student member of the Shiatsu Society) to set up es-senses.
For over twenty years, Fiona worked in a highly stressful management position
that involved making difficult choices on a daily basis so she knows only
too well the stresses and strains of a pressurised environment. During
her management career Fiona experienced a range of corporate events, including
team building and bonding workshops, informal social activities and away-days
for creative thinking. Some of these were based around adrenalin and some
based on alcohol, but all were designed to increase competitive, productive
and creative thinking within a company.
But Fiona found holistic healing was the secret to maximising her creative
thinking at work - whilst keeping the other parts of her life in
balance. It was this philosophy that inspired her to set up es-senses.
It was by taking regular, short amounts of time out to have a treatment,
learning to relax and breath slowly and deeply that helped her refocus
on what was important, and channel her energy into those key areas.
Es-senses is committed to bringing holistic healing to individuals
and to the corporate workplace. The effects of a relaxing, re-energising
treatment can often produce tangible change. Sometimes it is simply
an opportunity to stop, do nothing, relax and focus on yourself
